These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of products and services provided by MUVULE Financing LTD (“MUVULE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using any of our services, you (“the Client”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
Account creation with MUVULE is free of charge. However, a minimum balance of UGX 2,000 is required at all times to keep the account active. Accounts that fall below this minimum balance may be suspended or deactivated at MUVULE’s discretion.
All loans issued by MUVULE are backed by a soft collateral. This collateral consists solely of deposits held in the Client’s MUVULE account. Loan amounts are determined based on the value of this collateral.
At the time of account creation, the Client shall specify a minimum holding period for their deposited collateral. Should the Client request a withdrawal of any portion of their collateral before the expiry of the selected holding period, such amount shall attract a withdrawal fee. This fee is intended to compensate MUVULE for operational, transaction, and financial costs incurred in collecting and disbursing funds.
Collateral withdrawals shall not be permitted while the Client has an active or running loan with MUVULE.
Where applicable, all withdrawal charges shall be clearly displayed to the Client prior to final confirmation of the withdrawal request.
The Client shall set a confidential MUVULE PIN via our USSD code *274*8755#. This PIN is not stored, shared, or accessible to MUVULE or its employees in any discernible form. Responsibility for the secrecy and safekeeping of the PIN rests entirely with the Client.
The MUVULE PIN shall be required for all sensitive operations, including but not limited to initiating withdrawals and authorizing account-related actions.
Withdrawal requests shall be approved or rejected within a maximum of 72 hours from the time of initiation. MUVULE reserves the right to amend this processing period, as well as other operational policies including withdrawal charges, interest rates, loan periods, and related terms, at any time.
All payments to MUVULE, including collateral deposits and loan repayments, must be made digitally only via:
Payments made using a phone number that is not registered on the Client’s MUVULE profile risk being irretrievable. Any such loss shall be the sole responsibility of the Client, and MUVULE shall bear no liability.
Cash payments are not recognized and shall not be credited under any circumstances.
All disbursements by MUVULE shall be made digitally via mobile money, currently Airtel Money only, or in rare cases via bank transfer, at MUVULE’s discretion.
All amounts referenced in these Terms are denominated in Ugandan Shillings (UGX).
MUVULE Financing LTD reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of MUVULE services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
This Privacy Policy explains how MUVULE Financing LTD ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application, USSD services, and related financial services. Your data is primarily processed and stored within Uganda. When we use service providers that may process data outside Uganda (e.g., cloud services), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses.
Our services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete such information.
